Genuine Safety Screens mesh screens are constructed from woven strands of stainless steel. The strands are 0.8mm thick and spaced to ensure flies and mosquitoes can’t pass through. A normal fly screen can be cut with a knife, ripped by a cat or pushed in by a child. Safety Screens mesh door and window screens pass the Australian Standards AS 5041 Knife Shear and impact tests. The door and window screens are also resistant to crow bar attack, puncture and tearing.
